Glory of Iqbal is an educational and literary application that provides poetry, translations, transliteration, search, favourites, sharing, audio, and reading-related features.

Information we collect
Glory of Iqbal is designed to work primarily on your device. Depending on the features you use, the app may access or store the following information:
- App preferences: selected language, theme, font size, reading preferences, onboarding status, and similar settings.
- Favourites and reading data: poems or couplets you mark as favourites and related reading preferences.
- Google account information: if Google Sign-In or Google Drive backup/sync is enabled, the app may use your Google account only to authenticate you and backup or restore app data.
- Device and app data: basic device, app, crash, diagnostic, security, or compatibility information required for normal operation and troubleshooting.
How we use information
We use information only to provide app functionality, save preferences, store and restore favourites, enable backup and sync where available, improve reliability, fix technical issues, and maintain app security and compatibility.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties except where necessary to provide app functionality or where required by law.
If Google Sign-In or Google Drive backup/sync is used, relevant data may be processed by Google according to Google’s own privacy policies and account controls.
If the app includes Google Play services, Google Play Billing, crash reporting, analytics, ads, or similar services in the future, those services may process data according to their own policies. Any such usage should also be reflected in the Google Play Data Safety section.
Google Drive backup and sync
If backup and sync is enabled, the app may store app-related data such as favourites and settings in your Google Drive App Data folder. This data is used only to restore your app experience across devices. The app does not access your general Google Drive files.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored app data remains on your device unless you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app.
If backup or sync is used, backup data may remain in your Google account until you delete it from your Google account, disable sync, or request deletion where applicable.

Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect user data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, because the internet was apparently assembled by hopeful mammals.
Children’s privacy
Glory of Iqbal is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
